PPT’s New Podcasting Network!
After a very long weekend of debate, ideas, and friendly chats, new paths began to emerge: Bonds formed, and that inevitable spirit of change overtook the consciousness of the board. The Board of Pagan Pathways Temple met January fourth, and fifth to discuss the past, present, and future of the Temple. Many ideas came out of that “think tank”. One of which is to start anew by endeavoring into the world of Podcasting. Podcasts, an audio medium, are used by their creators to supply the interwebs with information, news, inspiration, and entertainment. It is an art form in and of itself. It is a new means to express one’s self in the ever moving, fast paced climate of today’s world. There are thousands of podcasts available, on hundreds of different subjects. These are, in a sense, a new way to stand upon one’s soapbox to speak on one’s own philosophy to any and all of the masses who are willing to listen. Pagan Pathways Temple offers a wide range of sermons, services, classes, discussions, devotionals, rituals, and so much more. There is enough creative talent represented here that it is impossible to attend each and every one. The internet is a means of reaching those who want to attend but are unable. Now there is a way of accessing this programming: Hence the idea of “Pagan Pathways Temple Podcasting Network” formed and is now being put forth. The coming Podcasts will be accessible by all the normal podcast feeds like iTunes, Google Play, and our own website at www.paganpathwaystemple.org. You are now able to access all shows on one feed (Pagan Pathways Temple Podcast network). Now you can listen to all that interests you and skip what does not. Shows will be placed on the feed once they are recorded and will stay there for future viewing for however many times one wishes to view them. Here are some of the shows that will appear on the feed, and/or are now in the works. Wiccan sermons; biweekly shows done by our High Priest Nashan (Stanly Nunn).Norse services done by HB Pattskyn. A clergy discussion on topics that effect the community, done by the Clergy of PPT. The discussion group run by Ted Ursus is another possible show. Also, at some point, a show of one-on-one interviews with Pagans across the community. Plus, many more possibilities to come!
This is exciting and new for us: Please be patient as we work out the bugs and learn to grow in this adventurous process. We will be tweaking and adjusting it as we go. It is our sincere hope you will join us and enjoy the content on this quest.
